Nov. 30, 2005 - Homeschool moms & denim jumpers

I changed the template for the blog. Not that that’s any big deal. The funny thing is after I chose the denim layout (thought it was very cute), I had to laugh at how stereotypical it is. Let’s play a little word association game. What’s the first thing that pops into your mind when I say “homeschool mom”? DENIM JUMPER! Ha! My friend Patti and I have laughed about that on several occasions. I do believe most of my friends own at least one denim jumper. I admit I do and each time I wear it, I feel like an “official” homeschool mom. So, how many are hanging in YOUR closet?

Isn't it funny how we stero-type these things. I don't think I actually own a denim jumper. I'm surprised our official uniform isn't sweats, since I bet that's what most of us really wear. I do have a maroon cotton jumper and one that is denim, but looks live overalls more than the "official" uniform. I guess maybe I'll put one on my wish list for Christmas.

I make it out of my Pjs right into the sweats some days.
At least I can say I'm "dressed" even if I don't look totally
fashionable! Some days are much better than others!!

You mean not every HS mom wears a denim jumper?? LOL:) I had a closet full of them until last year when I lost this weight, now I don't even have one. Can't say I miss them much either!
