What If?

Posted in General

What if you are an American citizen?

What if you are just any American citizen wanting to live independently and responsibly raising and growing food for your family?

What if you own, say, a flock of 12 chickens?

What if the government mandated you report to them about your chickens?

What if you had to tell them:

  • Your name, your address, your Global Positioning System Coordinate as well as the latitude and longitude for your address?
  • How many chickens you own, where and how you acquired them and your purpose for owning them?
  • How they are housed?
  • How they are managed?
  • What kind of feed and where acquired?
  • How many eggs each chicken lays?
  • How many eggs you collect each day?
  • How many eggs you actually consume each day/month?
  • How many eggs you give away?
  • Do you ever buy eggs from other sources other than your own chickens?
  • How many eggs you sell?
  • Who you sell your eggs to?
  • How does anyone know you have eggs to sell?
  • How much you sell your eggs for?
  • Total revenues collected for any eggs sold per week/month?
  • How and where you store your eggs?
  • How many, if any, eggs you throw away?
  • How and where you dispose of eggs you throw away?
  • If one or any of your chickens get out of their coop?
  • If one or more of your chickens leave your property?
  • If one or more of your chickens become sick?
  • If you medicate them?
  • Where you acquired medications used?
  • If one or more of your chickens die?
  • If one or more of your chickens disappear?
  • If one of more of your chickens are killed?
  • If you slaughter any of your chickens?
  • Method(s) you used for slaughtering any chickens?
  • Where you slaughter your chickens?
  • If you plan to consume any of the chickens you slaughtered?
  • If any of your chickens hatch chicks?
  • If you incubate and hatch chicks on your own? (the questions begin over for the new chicks as with the original flock)

What If?

Whether you own one pig or 100, under NAIS, you would be required to do the same reporting.

Whether you own one horse, one goat, one sheep or 2,000 head of cattle and have a contract with Hormel, under the proposed NAIS mandates, you would be required to do the same reporting to the government.

What If?

What if it doesn’t end with livestock?

What if the government decides they need to know about your garden?  Where it’s located, its size, the vegetables and fruits grown, consumed, given away, sold, fertilizers and pesticides used………..?

What If?

What if American citizens wake up and contact their State legislators, their State’s Governor, their State’s Department of Agriculture, their Congressmen and their Senators and demanded that our Constitutional rights be upheld and to stop the NAIS in its tracks.

What If?
