Georgia Dept. of Agriculture Supports NAIS

Posted in My Soap Box

There's a news flash, though I'm not surprised.  Government loves government.

I emailed Georgia's Commissioner of Agriculture, Tommy Irvin, to obtain their official position on the USDA's NAIS.  Mr. Irvin did not respond; however, the Department passed it around a bit and finally Carter Black responded.  Here is his email below:

"Ms. Jacobs,

The Georgia Department of Agriculture supports the NAIS.  This system will enable the trace of affected animals and contact animals in the case of diseases (Foreign or domestic).  This will enable rapid control and eradication of the disease.  Georgia is in the process of premises registration, which is the bases of the NAIS.  I have enclosed an application for premises registration.

Thanks,

C. Carter Black, III, DVM
Associate State Veterinarian
Georgia Department of Agriculture
19 MLK Jr. Drive  Room 103
Atlanta, GA  30334
Phone:    404-656-3667
Fax:        404-651-9024
email:      cblack@agr.state.ga.us"

Here is my reply to his email:

"Dear Mr. Carter,

Despite the fact that my email was addressed and intended for the State Ag. Commissioner, Mr. Irvin, I appreciate you responding to my email inquiry.

I will not be completing the premises registration application you included with your response.  I do not support the NAIS and will continue to advocate against its passing.  It is a violation of every citizen's Constitutional rights and is merely an opportunist motive with hidden agenda at best on behalf of our government.  Such a program will in no way further protect livestock - least of all should it be warranted for independent family farms who merely hobby farm and raise animals for their families singularly.

I will forward your email that presents your position of support for the NAIS to ensure the public is aware that Georgia's Department of Agriculture is a part of the scam against Americans as well as Georgia's citizens.

With kindest regards, I am

Sincerely yours,
Harriette Jacobs"

Why do I call it a "scam"? - because it is.  It's all about money and control and a step toward a "certain type" of society that I can not bring myself to speak the term - but it starts with a "C"............

And now the USDA wants to import poultry to our dinner tables from China.

Who's gonna build the new Noah's ark or can we convert the Starship Enterprise into the millenial Noah's Ark? - we'll all be loading with our 2 by 2 livestock animals with stickers all over it:  "Former Farmers of America";  "The New World on the Moon or Bust".

I am beginning to realize how our ancestors were willing to risk a voyage by ship for weeks and months for a new life in a new and unknown world to escape the tyranny of a government.

My temper is flared, so I think I best leave it here.

Your Question: did you create the treehouse graphic? do you create most of your graphics and then upload them?

Answer: No, I get some of them off of www.mbif.net. But, I find the pictures! www.mbif.net is a site you can get free blog stuff off of so you can use ANY of the graphics that I make backgrounds with!
