The 101st day of school started off nice and slow. Tom was off today (trying to complete the last of his "to do" list) and we really appreciated the leisurely pace. We were still through with everything by 10:45. That left the boys plenty of time to play.
Now it is 2:30 and the baby is napping, K is playing, and Tom and E are with my dad at the movie theatre watching Narnia. I am trying to record today's school work, but this rain is tiring me out.
We had a great holiday, though. Tom took E sking last Tuesday and they had a blast. We hope to have pictures to post sometime this week or next.
The boys spent a lot of time riding bikes and climbing trees and playing with their new toys. K spent his Saturday afternoon with my parents. (Yes, E, it is your turn next.)
I spent some time shopping on Friday and Saturday. I was also able to eat lunch with a friend on Saturday. (Hi Jen! ) It was so nice to have some grown- up time (to talk about our kids of course ). Thanks Tom and Jason for taking care of all the munchkins!!
And now--the baby is waking up and the laundry is calling. I guess it is official. The holidays are over....
Blessings!
