The first local chapter of Generation Joshua is now being formed on Oahu. An orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th, 2008, 7 - 8 p.m., at the Hokulani Community Center on 298 Main Street.

From their website:

Generation Joshua is designed for Christian youth between the ages of 11 and 19 who want to become a force in the civic and political arenas. Our goal is to ignite a vision in young people to help America return to her Judeo-Christian foundations. We provide students with hands-on opportunities to implement that vision.

This local chapter is being organized by Ryan McDonald (themcdonaldfamily@hawaiiantel.net). There will be monthly meetings with guest speakers along with other local political events. Please join them!

History Channel to Test Market "Liberty's Kids"

Posted in Upcoming Events

Great news! If you are a fan of the revolutionary children’s show “Liberty’s Kids” and would like to see it back on the air, now is your chance! Beginning this Wednesday, February 27, The History Channel will air episodes of “Liberty’s Kids” on Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 7:30 am and Saturday 7:00 am to 8:00 am. However, this is only a test marketing of the show.

IMPORTANT!
The History Channel
needs to know this is the kind of programming that we as parents want for our children. So tune in and watch, then contact The History Channel at http://www.history.com/global/feedback/index.jsp?NetwCode=THC and tell them how much you and/or your children enjoy the program. If the show does well, the producers are prepared to create more programs highlighting other historical eras in American History.

Imagine how much fun it would be to watch the same type of educational animated series about other periods of our nation’s history like the Civil War or the Oregon Trail. Click here to read an informative “Liberty’s Kids” review: http://www.knowledgehouse.info/libertykid.html

More TeenPact Info

Posted in Upcoming Events

Dear Hawaii TeenPacters,

Registration for your TeenPact class was scheduled to close last Monday, however there are only 29
students registered to attend. We would love to conduct the Hawaii class as planned, but we need to
have at least 30 students registered to be able to go forward with the class. If there are not at least
30 students registered, we will not be able to have the class.

That being said, we are doing everything in our power to make sure the 2008 Hawaii TeenPact class
happens, but we need your help! Since you are so close to having the needed number of students, we
are extending the Hawaii registration deadline to this Saturday at midnight. Talk to your family, friends, homeschool groups, and churches and tell them why you are coming to TeenPact. If you are not
coming this year, tell them why you came in the past, and what your experience was like. The single
most effective way to spread the word about TeenPact and inspire other students to come is by
word-of-mouth and personal stories.

We know that you are working hard on the homework, and at fitting the class into your schedule, and we
feel strongly that the Lord will move in this class. There is only one more student needed to reach the
minimum number for the class, and we are sure that, with God's help and your effort, this class can
happen!

If you have any questions, please contact our office at 1.888.343.1776.

Thank you and blessings!

Yours for turning America back to Christ,

The TeenPact Office
