I love to sew and was thankful to have a holiday for an excuse to do it ALL day :). My hubby was out playing with the boys and my girls were sewing right along with me (babies at our feet :)). This is the fruit of our Labor Day :).
I love those skirts!!! Did you use a pattern??? And if you did can you let me know? I would love to make some like those. I have really been enjoying your blog.
Thank you! :) I didn't use a pattern but would be happy to share how I put them together. :) You can either email me or I will try to get a post up sometime with instructions!
Many blessings!
Tina
I want to learn to sew! You all did a beautiful job! The girls look so pretty! I want my girls to wear dresses all of the time but it is hard to find modest ones that are the right length!
I also love stay at home vacations! My husband and I did this for our anniversary last year. We had the most wonderful meal, candlelight dinner, and time alone (kids were next door at Mamaws for the night). We bought really expensive food but still only spent a half of what it would have been to go "out" to my favorite restaurant (Red Lobster). We are planning to do the camping thing in our yard sometime soon too. Our girls want to go camping but I hate leaving the comforts of home. I like the idea of letting them sleep on the trampoline! :) Happy Aniverary by the way! We are getting ready to celebrate 8 years in October.
I am enjoying your posts on how you manage your home! Thanks for sharing!

I appreciate the offer, Tina! I have a friend next door who is willing to do it too, but I just hate to be a burden! I have another friend who is willing to give her sewing machine to me. I want to try to learn! If you have time some time to email the links for modest clothing on line I would appreciate it!
Sorry about the typo in my last comment. I can't believe my eyes did not catch Anniversary spelled wrong! I had better go back to copying and pasting it on a word program so I can use spell checker! LOL
Just wondering, do you have your girls wear shorts under their dresses if they will be playing at a playground? I did the other day and the girls really thought it felt funny. In our own yard I don't have them do it because it is all girls. Maybe I had better have them do it no matter where!? Thanks again! Oh and forgot to tell you that my oldest laughed and laughed at the picture with the "weeds" on the kids heads! So cute!
