I am Blessed...

Posted in Blessings

Have you ever had one of those days that you feel that God is truly watching over you? Well, I have had two of those days.

I have been dealing with a sinus infection. So far I have had it for a week and a half, not fun. And as you can imagine, my home has suffered the consequences. I have gotten behind on laundry, dishes, and general cleaning. But there is light at the end of the tunnel...

On Sunday, I stayed home from church...I have had severe headaches due to sinus pressure and I thought it best to stay home. I really don't want to expose the new babies at church either. Anyway, to get to the point, my dear friend from church called me Sunday evening and asked if she could come over and help. Of course, I said "yes"...I am desperate to get caught up.

So Monday, she came over. She was here at 7:15 a.m. ready, willing, and able to help. Around 10 o'clock on Monday, I received a call from another dear friend from church. She called to see if I needed help from her 15 year old daughter. How could I object? All help is needed, especially when you are talking about six children nine and younger.

I am so thankful that I accepted all offers of help on Monday...I ended up with the worst headache yet, and nothing was working to eliminate the pain of the headache. So thankfully, while I was down with the headache I had someone to entertain the children, and someone to catch me up on laundry and dishes. The Lord is sooooo good! I am truly blessed.

My friend that had came over at 7:15 a.m. stayed until I felt better and then she and her husband joined us for dinner. She came over today, also! Of course, I told her that I was serving creamy potato soup and pumpkin streusal cake with whipped topping...so lets just say I paid her back for her kindness.

Today, she helped me to get my downstairs living areas and bathroom looking nice.  I can't even put in words how blessed I feel right now! I just know that God has taken care of me...in a very BIG way!

Blessings!
