Confessions of a Homeschool Mom

Feb. 26, 2007 - Rainbow in My Heart :)

This was the view from our living room this afternoon.  Isn't God good?

I have been so busy with life that I'm not blogging much anymore ~ that and I don't like the new format on homeschoolblogger!  I can't get the buttons to show up and I don't have time to "fiddle" with it. :)

I hope you are all doing well ~ my husband and I are excited about the changes at our ministry to homeschoolers (www.fchm.org), as we are now getting requests from all over the country about First Class!

Check out my friend Tracy's blog, she has a video about First Class on her site!
One of these days I'll figure out how to do that, too.  But for now, I'm just happy to have a rainbow on my blog :)  (Thank you, Sierra..!!)

Springtime Blessings!

I firmly believe rainbows are God's way of sending a "I'm really here folks" message...I only hope that each time one appears, some unbeliever has a change of heart. You were blessed with seeing a terrific FULL rainbow.

Sometimes I wonder if we weren't twins separated at birth. Of course you're the much older...now 37 year old twin...while I stayed in the womb an extra 37 days, just so you'd always have the distinction of being the more 'mature' one.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!

Love ya 'sis'! -Tracy

I wish I could have gone to the WATCH convention. Right now Bible Quiz Team's schedule keeps many of my weekends booked, but maybe someday!

About Me

Heidi and her husband, Jay, have been married for over 17 years. They reside in Ridgefield, WA, where they homeschool their six children. The children range in age from 15 to 1 and Heidi "highly recommends having older children!" When Heidi is not climbing Mount Never-rest (folding laundry),changing diapers or washing dishes, she enjoys writing, trying new recipes she finds on the internet and encouraging other moms. The St. Johns founded First Class Christian Homeschool Ministries, a parachurch organization dedicated to helping churches start homeschool co-ops in their communities.
