One of God's Amazing Little Creatures Up Close and Personal........
This little fellow decided to drop by and visit with us. In this picture he is stuck to our glass door. I immediately ran and got my camera in order to get this shot. Isn't it amazing? If you click on the picture you will see more details like his eyes, mouth, nose etc. This picture is before I did any enhancements to it..........
This is the same picture as above but I used the computer to darken it and outline the little guy. Doesn't this one look so cool? It is so defined, look at his legs and arms he almost looks like he is tap dancing lol.........Enjoy!!!
We live on a homestead of 80 acres in the midst of pure serenity. It is such an amazing place to be. It is a place where we are always learning together as a family, by simply watching all of God's wonderful and amazing creatures who share the homestead with us. There are so many lessons to be learned from watching the animals that live around us.
When I sometimes allow life to become too hectic, God always makes a way to bring me back on track. He does this by creating a moment of awe. He brings along something that will cause me to stop what I am doing just to marvel at what He has made. When he brought Mr Grasshopper along it created one of those moments for me. I was so intrigued at that moment that I couldn't help but stop what I was doing. I simply had to enjoy the beauty of that most wonderful and amazing moment.
It is times like that I am reminded that God purposely creates those quiet moments in our lives. He does so in order to bring us to a peaceful and calm state in our hearts and minds. He creates simple pleasures in order to bring us to a place of serenity. A leading to those still waters. A place we are certain to find Him when life gets too loud and starts to drown out His small still voice.
They are His ways of reminding us life should be simple. Don't allow life to become a state of chaos that is not what God intended it to be. When we take the time to be still and enjoy God's wonder all around us we will always find our way back to Him if we somehow strayed off the path.
Dearest Lord, Your creations NEVER CEASES to amaze me. I am enthralled with each and every thing I see. Thank you for such fun lessons in nature such as this. Thank you for using such wonder to bring me back to those still waters so I can once again marvel in your presence. In Jesus name I pray, Amen~ |

• Aug. 4, 2007 - Mommy's True LIttle Angel....
 This is my sweet little girl. She dressed like this on her own. She often comes up with some very unique outfits like this on her own. lol She got into the box of give away baby clothes that was on the floor and this is what she came up with.
So very fitting for my precious little angel girl. If you click on the picture you will see she has a pair of wings on her back.
She tells me all the time, "I am mommy training, got to do my jobs!" She is going to make a great mommy!
Moments like these are a good reminder that each and every one of my children are unique. God gave them all individual souls and a special plan and purpose in life. Having identical twins has shown me that even though my girls may look the same they are not the same in any sense of the word. They each have their own individual personality, antics and soul. They each have their own individual and special purpose to fulfill in life. A calling God has placed on each one of them.
I want to always be reminded that I cannot take one child and try to fit them into the mold of another. This is not what God intended. I must allow each child to be who they were created to be and I must learn how to help each and every one of them get to that place without trying to force one to be more like the other.
Even when one child's personality is more challenging than the others. I need to remember there is a purpose for that character trait in my child's life. Instead of trying to change that trait in them I need to be teaching them how to overcome the desire to misuse their strength for selfish desires. They need to learn it was given to them by God for His purpose and glory.
God created each and every one of my children. It was He who gave them each their own strengths and weaknesses, according to His will, who am I to try to change that?
Dearest Jesus thank you so very much for my precious, precious earthly angel girl!! I couldn't of asked for more! Thank you that she is unique and help me to guide her into the calling you have put on her life. May I never forget how unique and individual each gift you gave to us is when it comes to raising each of these precious jewels for you! In Jesus name I pray, Amen~

• Aug. 4, 2007 - Daddy's Little Girl Doing Her Nails...
 This is my little angels other half, who couldn't be more different than her slightly older sister. (by minutes)
This one is always telling me, "I daddy training, I go with daddy!" lol.
She is our little tomboy but still has some girly side to her. She just had her nails done and is very proud. Can you tell she is being ever so careful?
Thank you Jesus for two girls who are identical in one way yet so unique and different in others! You have double blessed us in more ways than one when you gave us these twin girls! In Jesus name I pray, Amen~

 Here's some SNOW!!!
Has anybody else been having a heat wave like us and need some cooling off? It has been VERY HOT where we live and I was browsing my pictures and came across this. Don't these pictures just make you want to make a snow cone or ask someone to throw a snowball at you right now? LOL. I know I am wishing I could lay in some snow right now! Well try to stay cool!
Dearest Lord isn't it funny how when it is hot we wish it was cold and when it is cold we wish it was hot. May we learn to always appreciate each and every season of the year! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!
