Roast

Posted in Recipes I Use
Put beef roast in a large 8qt pan. Empty 2 packets Lipton Onion Soup mix on top. Pour 8 cups of water on soup and roast. Bring roast to a boil. Boil for about 15 minutes or so. Take roast out of pan. Rub brown sugar all over roast. Put roast in a baking pan. Pour half of liquid into the pan. Not on the roast. Tin foil and bake at 350* for 3 hours. Replace the half of the liquid that is missing in the pot with water. Boil a few minutes longer and set aside. You will be using this and whatever liquid is in the baking pan to make brown gravy. Enjoy!
