Taco Pizza

Posted in Recipes I Use

refried beans

taco seasoning

taco sauce

chilli

ground beef or shredded chicken

lettuce

onions

peppers

tomatoes

cheese sauce

shredded cheese

corn chips

Ok they are many ways to make this using the above ingredients. For starters you can use all of them in one taco pizza. We call it taco supreme pizza.

You will need a large cookie sheet or flat round pizza pan or a shallow baking pan. Your base is the refried beans. You spread them out all over the pan. Usually I start cooking the meat first. Then while the meat is cooking I spread the beans. Let the beans cook in oven at anywhere from 350 to 400 degrees. When the meat is cooked you add either or both, cheese sauce or taco seasoned chilli meat over the beans. The meat would be a mixture of taco seasoning, chilli, onions, peppers, & meat. Then top that with taco sauce, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and shredded cheese. Use corn chips to eat it up. Of course you get to pick and choose your toppings but start the base with refried beans. Oh and you can add rice too. Yum! Always on request around here!!
