Here we are...Thursday again, already.  I've been a bit grumpy the last few days, so let's see if I can turn my frown upside down.  *gag*  :-)  See, I did it already. I'm thankful that even though my template has decided to be messed up all of a sudden, I have the knowledge to investigate and probably fix it when I have time. I'm thankful that I have changed enough that the above problem is not going to bother me nearly as much as it would have in the past. I'm thankful that the snow melted outside and that God is in control of nature and weather, no matter how arbitrary it may seem to me. I'm thankful that my family is healthy. I'm thankful that tax season is almost over so our family can have my husband back. I'm thankful that God loves me, even when I fail. I'm thankful for my friend Heather who lets me win at online Scrabble once in awhile. Mostly I'm just thankful for her friendship, though.  :-) I'm thankful that I have so many things to be thankful for every day. Jodi

Thursday, April 5, 2007 - Thankful Thursday

This is my first Thankful Thursday post.  I found this yesterday and thought it was a great idea.  I certainly don't post about what I'm thankful for often enough!  I feel like I spend a lot more time complaining than I do being thankful, so hopefully I can do this most weeks and get my head in the right place! I'm thankful that I can homeschool my kids.  It is a sacrifice in many ways, but so worth it! I'm thankful that it seems I did NOT break my toe or foot when I fell down the steps on Tuesday morning and that it's feeling much better already. I'm thankful that we have a great speech therapist for my son, that he enjoys meeting with her, and that dealing with the public school hasn't been a bad experience. I'm thankful that I learned to knit and that it's such a good form of relaxation for me. I'm thankful that I'm doing Christ-Life Solution and that it's having such a positive impact on me. I'm thankful that I have a blood covenant with my God and that He sent His son to be my covenant representative. I'm thankful to live in a country where I can worship God freely in my own way. I'm thankful that I never stop learning. I'm thankful for my friends who, although they live far away, are always there for me in good times and bad. I'm thankful for babysitting grandparents. I decided I should stop with 10 or I could go on for a VERY long time.  I'm sure it'll get harder as time goes on not to repeat myself, but I'll try to keep it up each week! Jodi
