I am very new to knitting and am having a blast. I have been practicing my stitches and learning new techniques all the time. Granted, it is getting a bit too hot to knit with wool this time of year, but I'm going to try to do some cotton projects over the summer.
I just heard about a knitting contest on ali's blog, so of course, I'm eager to enter and expand my knitting skills. My summer goal is to finish 1 good size cotton project and also to explore knitting with beads (so pretty!). Check out her blog and if you are a knitter, please join the party!
I would be interested in seeing a picture of a knitting project with beads. Bethany and I can knit scarves. It's time to learn something new.

How neat. My mother recently taught herself to knit, and she showed my youngest one how to do some stitches when they were there. Maybe one of these days I'll learn. I've been having a ball having some regular scrapbooking time the last few months.
