What a beautiful day to go on a field trip -- to one of my most favorite places in Michigan: the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park (here's the link). We took Grandma along, which was a blessing to her and to us.  My mom is nearly 90 years old!  She had me when she was 46 years old and has been a sweet and healthy lady all her life! 

We wheeled her around in a wheel chair because the Garden is HUGE and she wouldn't have been able to see much of it on foot.   She loved seeing everything!

This is, of course, Leonardo DaVinci's magnificent horse.....stunning to behold!



This sculpture was titled "Julia" so the girls thought I should pose with it!  Haha!



It was a great day!  Tomorrow, we are going to a local zoo, so that will be fun as well.
