Quickbooks made easy for homeschool groups
(view similar articles on Non Profit Organizations)

Does your homeschool group use Quickbooks for tracking your finances?  Many groups, my own homeschool co-op included,  find Quickbooks a pretty useful tool for recording income and expenses.  You don't have to be a CPA to use and understand Quickbooks.  There are icons, pictures, and arrows to tell you what to do next.

I have also found a FANTASTIC, free resource to help you use Quickbooks.  Reality Check ,a Quickbook training company, offers free Quickbook manuals that you can download.  They are clear, easy to follow and very helpful.  They are full of step by step screen shots of Quickbooks actions.  I just told a homeschool group treasurer about these manuals.  They will help her understand how to make deposits and correctly classify the checks she writes.

I think it is so wonderful when people like Reality Check's owner Phyllis Panzeter offer their knowledge and experience to the public.  I wrote her a thank you e-mail.  If you find these manuals helpful, why don't you thank her also.
