Subject: Homeschool Senior: Heather-PianoLove

Today, I would like you to meet 2008 Homeschool Senior, Miss Heather of PianoLove.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Heather aka pianolove. I always love introducing myself, because there is a very interesting fact about me. I am the oldest of eleven children! I enjoy telling people this so much that I even made myself a shirt that says "I'm the big sister". LOL
Now the rest of this will probably be boring compared to that.
I've been homeschooled all my life. We do school via "living books" and whatever curriculum floats our boat. We've used a little of Diana Waring's "What in the World's Going on here" and little Truthquest for history, mostly apologia for highschool science, and actual the writing of letters and such for grammar and spelling. We're using Videotext for algebra and geometry.
A lot of our schooling is done just by reading. Mom picks and chooses the best and most interesting non-fiction for our shelves, and we read.
My favorite subjects are history and science. History is so much fun it doesn't feel like school to me. Actually, art and music are probably my favorites, but I've never even heard it called school  here! I have to fight for my piano time! LOL! Science, is therefore, my favorite school subject!

We've never done graded so this finishing up is new to me. I will probably tell people at some point that I've graduated, but I've no intention of stopping! Well actually, I probably won't be going any farther than geometry in math because I do not enjoy that subject.
I'm planning to go into midwifery someday. Therefore, I will be stressing human anatomy and health and such. I may take Spanish.
