Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;

on thee do I wait all the day.

Chris & Ruth are the proud parents of a healthy baby girl! Isabella, was born October 11th. Happy Birthday!!!!

Please continue to pray for them. Chris, will hopefully be able to see his daughter in January

Please pray for my brother-in-law Chris, who is serving in Iraq. Pray for his safety and that the Lord will comfort him and his wife Ruth who is expecting their first child in October. She is staying with her parents, while Chris is away.

and thoughts are with both of them. Being apart from your loved one, is never easy and takes two very strong, God-loving individuals. My husband and I have been married for 11 years, it hasn't always been easy being separated, but I know that God strengthens us.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I've enjoyed reading yours and seeing your beautiful family!

Linda,
I will pray for Chris & Ruth. My sweet sister gave birth to my #2 nephew while her husband was serving in Iraq. It wasn't easy, but friends and family pulled together to support and love their little family, and it was a blessed event nonetheless! They made lots of memories and have stories to tell! Praying that it will be the same for your loved ones. He is faithful.

Thanks for sharing such a personal story. I will say a prayer for them. I so admire those who are doing all that they can to keep our country and our lives safe over here. What a sacrifice for both of them, especially with her expecting their first child so soon. My heart truly goes out to them!

Hi Linda,

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog the other day. You do have your hands full with six so close together. I must say that having my boys spread out the way I do has been a huge help, and I am able to go and do a lot more things that I couldnt even go and do with my first three who were five years apart from each other. However, soon you will be over the hump and life becomes so much easier. It goes by so quickly. Congratulations on your amazing family! You are truly blessed and its so great that you know that!!

I'm Linda, a child of God, wife to my best friend Lupe and mom to Joshua 98, Annette 99, Caleb 00, Brent 01, Ethan 03 & Lance 04. We have been homeschooling since 2002. We homeschool because we believe that this is what God wants us to do right now. I love being with my children, most of the time=) I have to admit that there are days when I ask God "Why am I doing this?" and he gently reminds me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and deep down inside my heart I know why I am homeschooling ;)
