Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation;

on thee do I wait all the day.

Still Here!!!

Well, the stomach virus has visited us. Not very fun. This has been the most expensive winter with all of us having to go to the doctor's, hospital stay & buying medicine. Praise the Lord that's it nothing major though. Makes me very thankful for our health.

We are still alive here and trying to get some schooling done. We are on week 14 of ECC. We will take another break though (YIKES!) because we are headed out to CA soon. My dh uncle is with Jesus.

Hopefully I'll get to post an update on us before we leave. So much going on. Please keep us in prayer to keep up with school. We took two weeks of in Dec. another week off in Jan. plus we have all been sick since CHRISTmas and now we will be gone for two more weeks. Looks like we will school through summer to catch up.

Chris got sick too. He will leave for Iraq on the 14th of this month. Will post more later.

Gotta go.

Blessings,

Linda<><

Sorry to hear there's been so much sickness. My kids all got the flu after Chritmas, too. I'll say a prayer for you and your family right now. Sorry to hear about dh's uncle. I hope the trip to CA goes well.

I had seen your blog when you were on the Calvert group. It's been a while. I just wanted to say that you have a very nice blog and I enjoy your posts. Sounds just like what a homeschoolers life is. Thanks for sharing.

Pray that you are all starting to feel better.
Don't be discouraged, you will catch-up.
Learning doesn't happen in a day, a week, or a month. It happens over a lifetime.
Miss YOU!
Blessings,
Linda

Glad to hear that your B-I-L made it home safely. Hope that you all are feeling better. It looks like all of us HS Mom's are not doing a whole lot of blogging these days. I think eferyone has either been sick or very busy.
Well, just wanted to stop in to see how things were going. Blessings, Traci

Your winter sounds like ours. I can't wait until spring. New life and and hopefully an end to all this sickness and family emergencies.

I'm Linda, a child of God, wife to my best friend Lupe and mom to Joshua 98, Annette 99, Caleb 00, Brent 01, Ethan 03 & Lance 04. We have been homeschooling since 2002. We homeschool because we believe that this is what God wants us to do right now. I love being with my children, most of the time=) I have to admit that there are days when I ask God "Why am I doing this?" and he gently reminds me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and deep down inside my heart I know why I am homeschooling ;)
