I need to start working on posting the kids schedule's again. I liked seeing all that we are accomplishing.
I had Joshua & Annette take an online assessment test, so I could see where they are and what we need to work at. The assessment was for High Frequency Words, Word Recognition, Phonics Word Analysis, Spelling, Oral vocabulary & Reading Comprehension.
Annette was either at grade level or above, so she is doing well. She knows how to look at a difficult word and different strategies to figure out the words.
Josh on the other hand was below grade level on all but his Oral Vocabulary. I think I am going to purchase Unique Reader for him and see if that will help improve his score for next year. Unique Reader takes the scores from his assessment and personalizes the program for him.

of the time=) I have to admit that there are days when I ask
God "Why am I doing this?" and he gently reminds me that I can
do all things through Christ who strengthens me and deep down
inside my heart I know why I am homeschooling ;)
