We had a great Mother's Day. Here are some highlights of the day.

We woke up, Lupe, put some meat in the crockpot for dinner. Children all surprised me with some homemade gifts. They did all this on their own, my sweet children. I fell back asleep for a few more minutes.

We missed church so we all piled in the van and listened to a Steve Farrar cd on Caleb. We had church in the van while driving around in the country. We stopped at a Wendy's and Lupe splurged and got me a Chicken Sandwich Combo.

We took the scenic route home, I took a nap, then my dad and brother came over. Lupe, got dinner ready. After supper Lupe & Josh arranged all the flowers that Lupe, bought at Costco. He so sweet. Every year he buys carnations for my mother and roses & wildflowers for me and makes beautiful arrangements with them. He is teaching Josh how to do this.

At the end of the day I found a card that Lupe, bought for my mom. It said, "To Grandma Mary, in care of her daughter." I opened it up and read what Lupe, wrote to my mother who is with Jesus. I love how my husband shows his love for me by remembering these little things. He is a great example to our children showing Christ love for us and how God cares about the details in our lives.
