I have been taking the children to the park everyday. I love watching them play. You should see all the creative play they do. They play forts, tag but you have to stay on the paths they make and this week Brent can swing all by himself. He always needed me to help him. Not anymore. His face light up when he is swinging high with no help from mom ;)

The other day Brent, was pushing Lance, on the swing and he accidentally gave him a shove. Lance flipped over and fell. He looked up at me and said, "I'm okay." too funny. Today I was pushing Lance, when all of a sudden he started screaming. I couldn't make out all his words but I did catch 'too high'. He started laughing once I stopped him.

I found out today that Joshua, doesn't like to do school on the computer. I didn't know that. I signed him up for Time4Learning and bought Reading Detective on cd-rom. I told him as long as he does a half our of Time4learning Math that's all the computer school he needs to do. I found a used Reading Detective workbook today for him which he was happy about.

Annette, on the other hand enjoys schooling on the computer, so she'll use the Reading Detective A1 that I purchases. Phew, that cost $29.00 + shipping. I'm pretty sure the other children will use it when the time comes.

Today Annette, was introduced to division with a remainder. Boy, did she get frustrated. She kept saying that she doesn't get it. I patiently explained it as we did problems. In the end she still didn't get it

My sister MaryEllen is visiting us. The children and I can't wait for her to get here. She will fly in on Saturday. She called today because she was at the book store. She is going to bring Lance, some Kumon workbooks. She got him My First Book of Tracing, My Book of Pasting & Jigsaw Puzzles. She also got Ethan, one called Around the World.
