Ethan, "Mom, is the garage part of the house?"

Me a little puzzled by the question but I said, "Yes."

Ethan, "Then you owe me .50 I killed five spiders in the garage."

Me laughing. That little stinker.

My sister has come and gone and we are having the MaryEllen blues now . We miss her so much.

The children have soooo much fun with Auntie Reff. She plays all kinds of games with them. Their favorite is Hide-and-seek.

We were so busy, the kids had a blast. On Tuesday, she took them to Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-a, coffee (hot chocolate) at Starbucks. We went to the park, the Island of the Blue Dawn, went back to Hobby Lobby.

We didn't get too much school done. Josh & Annette did math and grammar. The younger ones only did math.

This Monday we were still recouping from staying up late and getting up early, so we did a little bit of school and today we had an inspection on the house, the air conditioner man came & some showing, so we were out of the house for half the day. Again they all did math and that was about  it.

I hope to have Caleb & Brent work on their Phonics Road to Reading. I don't want them to forget all those sounds we learned the week before.
