Berries, Berries, and More...Black-eyed Susans??

Hello!

Shelby and I have recently discovered(during a game of "prairie girls") that we have a Mulberry tree and several bushes of wild Blackberries!! I have also discovered that on our "entry gate" we have another berry that neither Mom, Dad, or me can discribe or define. It is green and all the berries are tiny, and are bunched up sorta like grapes. And they are growing on a vine with pretty leaves. I drew that vine when the berries weren't there(maybe someday I'll figure a way to post it,), when the leaves were small and quaint. Now they are as big as the birch leaves that grow on the two trees that I have my "prairie girl" house under at the crest of the hill of the driveway. You know, as I typed that description of the berries, I can't help feeling that they might BE grapes....odd.

The title encludes Black-eyed Susans, because I have seen NUMEROUS bunches of them growing wild along the road. They are so pretty! Although I'm sorry to say that we only have one single "Susan" growing on our whole 16 acres! And I so desperatly want to pick one!!

I guess that is all for now.

Sam

hey there - i think those ARE grapes. one time when i was with some friends down near mexico, and they had a bunch like that. little round green berry-lookin things. we ate em - they were fine. but just to be sure, you should probably ask someone who knows. wouldn't want to poison yourself, now would you? oh yeah - i love wildflowers. hopefully i'll be able to see some at palomar. maybe i'll squish a plant while trying to take a picture of it - wouldn't that be nice?

hey, if i get some good pictures, maybe i can send them to you somehow. i don't know how, though. i need someone who knows how to do that stuff. i know who i need!

well, philip finished his baseball season this year. his team made it to the semi-finals. i don't think he minds that it's over, though. baseball isn't his thing as much as it is andrew's or mine.

you want to hear some lovely lyrics? well, if not, too bad, and if so, here you go:

"am i loud and clear? or am i breaking up? am i still your charm, or am i just bad luck? are we getting closer, or are we just getting more lost? i'll show you mine, if you show me yours first. let's compare scars, i'll show you whose is worse. let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words."

i think it's pretty. but i'm a sucker for good music, so that's no surprise. well, i has to go. talk to you later, k?
