OH MY GOSH!!!!!! I think I'm gonna faint!!!! Somebody get the smelling salts!!! Ok, I JUST finished my third Biology test, becuase it's due today. I've had all weekend to do it, but my family got sick, and so, yeah. So anywho, I didn't study at all like I'd planned. And I was doing Algebra this morning when I realized, "My Biology test is due today!!" So I hopped on the compy and did it. I just knew I was gonna flunk it, I mean, I've flunked science for three years now, and my mom ACCIDENTLY put me in HONORS Biology!! And like I said, I just KNEW I was going to flunk it, but God must have been taking it instead of me, because I got 4 out of 36 questions wrong!!! And most of it was classifying and naming phylums and such!!! And I passed!!!!!! I'm soooo amazed!!!! I still can't believe it!! So far, I'm getting all A's in Biology. God must really be on my side!! Sam |

He created heaven, He made earth, He made the light; He told the sun to rule the day and the moon to rule the night. He made the mighty rivers flow, He made the mountains tall; And every living creature and the man to rule them all. And when He saw that what He made was working like it should, He made an observation, and He said that it was good. Looking through the Scripture, I can see He wasn't through; He said, "I Am the Great I Am, there's nothing I can't do." He could heal the blinded eyes, and make the lame to walk, He could make the deaf to hear, and make the dumb to talk. He never stopped at anything that got into His way; He's still in charge and in control of all He made, today. Chorus: He's the God who made the universe, who put the stars in space. He's still working miracles, I can see them all over the place. Not just the God who one-time-did, He's the God who does. That's why they call Him the Great I Am, and not the Great I Was. He can move a mountain with the sound of just His voice; He can stop the sun or moon if it becomes His choice. He's the Great Physician when they've given up on you; He's just getting started when they've done all they can do. He's the God of Moses; He's the God of Abraham; He's the one and only God; He's the Great I Am. Chorus |

Ok, you guys will never guess what Micah thinks is hysterically funny! Typing! I don't see anything funny about it! It's just, when he's in mom's lap while she's at the compy, and she starts to type, he watches her hands and giggles constantly!! It's soooo funny and cute!! Everybody now gets a kick out of mom's typing! xD I have also discovered that I am extremely squemish when it comes to talking about our anatomy! Mom was reading about it for science today, and she would hold up the book to show us a picture and she'd say, "See? Can everybody see what that looks like?" I would turn my head to the fireplace and be like, "Wow! Look at the pretty, fake turkey on our mantel peice! I've seen him only a dozen times before!" Now I think I've got it figured why I flunked science last year... ; D I guess that's really all for me! Sam BTW: Today, it's 75 degrees!! We can play outside comfortably!! |
|
The compy says it's 52 degrees outside, but mom says it's 40. All I know is, my hands are numb. Sam BTW: yes, we're back from camp. : ) |

Ok, Kyle REALLY wants me to tell ya'll that his blog is now up 'n runnin' again. And, seriously, it is. xD He posts almost everyday!! And he REALLY wants some friends. So, just lettin' ya'll know... : ) Another thing I wanted ya'll to know is that I probably won't be posting on Friday, and, just to be on the safe side, Monday either. But you already know why: Camp Dixon. Did I already say that it is like Family Camp? Well, it is. Only there isn't so much stuff to do. There was really just the big 5k race on Saturday, and, hehe, I can't run in it. ;D But I heard they added a zipline, so that'll be cool. (Thank you, Hannah, for cruelly getting me over my fear of "scary" rides. ;D) That's about all that's been going on. Except that today is sunny! Sam |

*siiiiiiighs* Well, what a glorious morning! A cool morning, sprinkling rain, wild turkies on the front lawn. God is so good to me. ttyl! sam |

Don't ya just hate it when you type a really long entry, and then your internet goes wack and deletes it?? Well, that's why I "didn't" post last time....sheesh.... The last entry went basically like this: The weather has been AWESOME this past week(?)!!!! It's been in the low 70's all week!! And some days it's sunny, and some days it's cloudy with a little sprinkling. On the sunny days, I usually try to get my school work done early in the morning so that I can spend the whole day reading out in the cool sunshine on a picnic blanket. Then Shelby, Caroline, and I have a picnic. Those are my favorite days. Although on the sprinkling days, it's chilly enough to wrap up in a good blanket and take a nap, or spend some time talking to my Heavenly Father. =) The other day, me and mom went out to get Maggie a shock-collar. =( She keeps going to our neighbors'(not technically our neighbors, but our neighbors' neighbors. But, hey, everybody's your neighbor when you live in the south! xD)and chasing their chickens. She almost killed one the other day. I'm sure if they let their dogs out of their cage, she wouldn't even THINK about going there again. xD But, seriously, I personally think this is our fault. Mom and Dad told us she was going to be a handful(her breed, black lab PLUS her being her age(6months)makes her that way)and we just havn't been spending as much time with her as I think we should. We don't really play with her that much, either. So, I've taken it upon myself to exercise her at least three times a day. Especially on days when we're gone a lot. We normally go romping through the tall grass somewhat down by the pond. It's refreshing to do it early in the morning, especially right after I pray. To feel the cool air, and get my long legs untangled and stretched! xD But if I keep it up, I'm gonna need knee-braces pretty soon........=( sam |

Ok, I've put on my COUNTRY playlist(and, no, Tanglefur did NOT get the final say....) Now, it won't play automatically, you have to press play; I thought that would be helpful to those of you who just don't think it was a good idea. And, it's automatically on shuffle, cuz I have, like, 60 songs on it. So, yeah, you're prolly not gonna hear all of them in one sitting. lol! That's all for now! sam |
