Jun. 15, 2006 Once Upon A Time When Horses Ran Free
| In a far away land a baby horse was born. His mother named him Spirit. Spirit grew up fast. He raced with the eagle and like his father before him there came responsibility. One day the twin colts were playing and a mountain lion ran at them. Spirit managed to get to the colts before the mountain lion did. Spirit bucked and reared at the mountain lion. Finally he scared it away. That night Spirit saw a light. He called his mother to him, he told her he would be back. The light Spirit saw was a fire. He was curious. The horses tied to a post warned him not to go but Spirit ignored them and went closer. The men woke up and saw Spirit and got on their horses and ran after him. Then they caught Spirit and took him to the corral to break him. The End. |
