I like your new blog template. You are getting a lot of computer practice and that is very good! Have a happy day! Mrs. Julie p.s. I wanted to answer your questions about our puppy, Millie. She is six months old and loves chasing the squirrels, butterflies and doves. She must've eaten bugs when she lived in the woods because she loves to eat them still. She brings big bugs and spiders inside and we have to get them and throw them away. She likes to play frisbee and likes old socks. We play tug of war with her. Millie is a fun puppy. Hi, I just got back from a road trip across the state with our son and some other 4-Hers. I was a chaperone with them. It was fun but we all were very tired. The 4-H Conference had interesting workshops. After the conference we went to Spokane to sightsee and that was really a lot of fun. Several teens had blisters from all the walking. One girl showed us her blister and it looked infected and had red streaks. We called her Mom on the way home and we met her at a medical clinic. It was infected and they are treating her for that. We've been praying for her. I see you were enjoying your swimming pool and had some rain too. We got to go swimming 3 times while we were on our trip but the first 2 times we had to leave the pool as a lightning storm was nearby. Today we swam and there were no storms. But as we drove home we saw more and more lightning. Now there is a thunderstorm in the distance. It was 100 degrees when we arrived at the 4-H Conference. I LIKE you new blog LOOK! It is summer sunny warm and I like the country picture. Nice choices. We saw many bales of hay on our road trip. Some round and some rectangle. Quite a few bloggers change their blogs very often. Sometimes I have to think if I've seen their blog before because they change them so much! I'm nervous I'll make a mess of my blog trying to change too much. I did that once before. I can laugh about how awful it looked until a friend was able to fix it for me. We are getting ready for Joy's birthday. She is very excited as it is on the 4th of July. She has her horses to get ready for a parade. Some of the 4-H horse club will ride in it too. Since I've been gone, I have to hurry and wrap her gifts and decide on a cake and birthday foods. We will have her friends' party another day as they are busy with their families on the 4th. We are still doing some school but also having summer time fun. Your friend, Mrs. Marie
