This morning we had an extra treat.  Ellie took it upon herself to make waffles, and in addition to this yummy goody, we put out some delightful little candles that were given to us by our sweet friend Jennie.  Now, normally candles are reserved for the winter time in our house.  We put them away in the Spring and don't bring them out until Fall or early Winter.  However, something about eating waffles at 8 in the morning made us want to have cute little candles burning.  Can you hear us singing, "This little light of mine...I'm gonna let it shine!"

Oh, waffles sound like such a great idea! The picture you shared is really sweet, and your children look like they are really enjoying themselves! I also think it's wonderful that your family is helping out your friend in need by cleaning her house. What a God send that must be to her and her family - it's great when God sends us to serve!
