Hello again all,
Yesterday afternoon They decided to try and transport Charity to the Lucille Packard hospital because of the heart condition, The head nurse was concerned and mentioned to us several times that she may not make it through transport. At 4 pm they left with Charity from Good Sam heading to Lucille Packard. Charity did make it up to Lucille and all the kids got to blow her a kiss goodnight before we left in case something were to happen. both of these requests we are thankful that God has answered through all your prayers.
It did take several hours for the doctors at Lucille Packard to get Charity stable. The doctors still do not no what is happening and are very concerned. We ask for prayers that they would be able to find out in the next day or two.
Thank you for your prayers and for sharing our requests with others in the extended Christian family.
The Goulding family
We wanted to write and update you all. Charity continues to not do well. The cardiologist came this morning and did an echo on Charity's heart. Her heart is only functioning at 20% and with all the medication she is on it should be at 80%. They can't do anything else for her because her body temp is 102 but her feet are ice cold, meaning no circulation in her body. The Dr called and the last hope is to send her to Lucille Packard where they have some specialized equipment that might be able to help. At this stage it is not looking good for Charity, so we would ask for your continued prayers for her and the doctors at Lucille.
We have also been sharing with our older kids where things are at right now, so please keep them in your prayers as well. We are hoping that this afternoon, we can get the kids in as well so they might be able to see Charity incase things do not go well.
Again, we ask for your prayers for Charity and our family and as hard as it is to write we ask that the Lords will would be done.
Thanks,
Will, Elizabeth, and the rest of the gang
Monday, March 30, 2009 11:29:57 PM Charity has basically gone into cardiac arrest twice and has needed to be resuscitated. Right now they consider her stable, but critical and are not sure what is the issue. Nothing has come back from xrays or blood work yet to show what the problem is. Elizabeths folks are in town helping with our little people. For those that have offered meals or watching our kids...thank you we are doing fine right now but thank you for the offers. We just continue to covet your prayers as well as conversations that we have with doctors about faith. We are waiting for some lab work to come back around 3am that might help tell us what is going on with Charity. As always thank you for your prayers and love for our family.
