Titus Two

Titus Chapter 2

...speak thou the things that become sound doctrine:

That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate,

sound in faith, in charity, in patience.

The aged women likewise,

that they are in behavior as becometh holiness,

not false accusers, not given to much wine,

teachers of good things;

That they may teach the young women to be sober,

to love their husbands,

to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good,

obedient to their husbands,

that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works:

in doctrine shewing uncorruptedness, gravity, sincerity.

Sound speech that cannot be condemned;

That he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed,

having no evil thing to say of you.

Aug. 2, 2006 - I really like Titus 2

Posted by cricket313

I was reading Titus 2 v.5 (NIV)... to be busy at home.... That verse helped me relax. Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing enough at church or in the community. I have to remember God wants me "busy at home" or a "keeper of the home" That makes me feel good.

Thank you for the handwriting suggestion. I'll be adding you to my friends list. You have several intersting posts.

(And of course, I'm curious as to which rock band you played guitar?)
