The most shocking thing happened yesterday! My dog, who I had previously eulogized right here on this site, showed up, scratching at the door to be let in! The dog who had never left our house/the neighbor's yard before! The dog who is terrified of thunder storms, yet stayed away through two! The dog we'd long since assumed was dead! Ten days after her disappearance, she showed up, filthy and thinner. Welcome home.
I really shouldn't be here blogging-- there are streaky fingerprints on the bathroom mirror, and soggy cereal and milk drippings on the kitchen table! As I was walking around out there my slippers kept crunching on Gerber Cheese Crackers for toddlers that my daughter had dropped one by one off of her highchair tray. In other words, I have a house to clean. And a baby that is crying for my attention! Adios!
