The Downside of Homeschooling... no snow-days! The weatherman says snow possibly as low as 2000 ft. elevation. We're 2100. So far, not a flake. Our stepson, who attends public school, gets all excited about snow-days. School is never cancelled for our younger, homeschooled kids. Of course, if somehow snow filled up our hallway and we weren't able to get to the schoolroom, well...

We may get snow today too! We have been known to take snow days here though. Not today, we have to try and work ahead a little so we can take time off when my daughter has her baby(any day now!)

We haven't gotten that cold over here yet. Sometimes it DOES snow in East Tennessee...but usually it doesn't stay around more than a day. We have taken snow days....they are so rare around here that you just have to go out and play in it while it's around!
