Here is the recipe the children and I used to make the dough

Delightful Dough

1 1/4 tsp oil
1 pkg. kool-aid type mix
1/2 C salt
1 C boiling water
Mix dry ingredients. Add water and oil. Knead.

Mom asked me to cut the watermelon a couple days ago,
and as I did it, I though of a parallel with it to God.
He starts with just a person. (In my case, a watermelon)
Notice how Mom had a plan and design to carve it?
God has a plan and a design for our lives.
Mom made the outline of what it could look like,
and I carved it out...

It was quite fun!

Now the challenging part was, cutting out all of the melon
!
Similarly, God works to 'dig' out the sin that comes between us and His design.

It did really look weird seeing an empty watermelon!
The fun part was next...
Which is what God is eager to do...

I filled the watermelon basket with its fruit.
God wants to fill us with His fruit of the Holy Spirit
and give us baskets of blessings!!
The watermelon was great to eat, and only lasted that day and the next! It was really, really yummy!
