Hi Everyone!
Wow, it has been quite a while since I last posted. I have a some updates for you, so keep reading on! :)
On Tuesday we had our first snow!! It was just a dusting, but it was still snow! lol :) It looked beautiful!!

Here is what our backyard looked like! :)

And here is our front yard, from my room's window view.
On Wednesday, it was my Mom's Birthday! My dad bought her a cake and for her gift we got her lots of pretty yarn, because she knits now. :) The cake was so beautiful and yummy!

It is also beginning to look a lot like Christmas, because I have made my Christmas Cards for family and friends! I got a Christmas stamp set at a yardsale this summer for $5, and it probably was the best $5 dollars I have spent! The cards turned out great!

Here is the card's design! I think the stamp on it is so cute! After I stamped the stamp onto the paper, I used colored pencils and colored in the stamp. :) The inside of the card has a stamp also, that is Luke 2:11.:)

Here I am making cards! I always make a mess while making them. It helps me to have all my materials in front of me. lol :)
Tonight my sister and I are going Christmas shopping with my Grandma and Aunt. We are buying gifts for my parents! Hope and I have some ideas...:)
Also, do you like my new template? I needed to make it wintery. :) I have been wanting a little more room for pictures, so I stretched this template a little bit. Do you like it? :)
Have a Wonderful day, thanks for reading!
Love,
Liz

Hi Everyone!
This week is our Thanksgiving Break! We didn't get a fall break, so my mom is letting us take a week off for Thanksgiving! :)
During the break, we are painting my room! I am really excited! We painted it yesterday, and today we are touching up the paint, and putting my furniture in my room! This is the color we painted it...

The color is really pretty, I think. I am aiming for an Old-fashion Victorian looking room. :) I will be sure to post pictures when my room is done!
Also, on Thanksgiving we are going to my Grandma's house! I can't wait to eat the yummy food! :)

A lot has been going on! A few weeks ago for school we made our own bread for the very first time! It was so cool! We watched a video called Homestead Blessings: The Art of Bread Making by the West Family , and we just had to make our own! You can read about our bread making at our Family Blog! Here is sneak peak of our bread!

Hi Everyone!
Our garden did pretty good this year! We got a bunch of Green peppers, more than we ever have gotten! We also got sweet potatoes, which were so yummy! We got a lot of veggies this year that haven't grown well in years! Especially.....Pumpkins!

We got two very nice pumpkins! They actually grew from our compost accidentally! We carve pumpkins each year, so we put the pumpkin seeds and pulp in the compost. We have always tried to grow pumpkins, but they always have gotten eaten by an animal! We picked these a few weeks ago, so nothing would get them! :)

It is really nice to get veggies even in October! My dad has built a greenhouse too, so he is planting things in there for the winter. :)
I hope you all have a great weekend!
Love,
Liz
