Hello Everyone,

It has been a while since I wrote. Between vacation, maintenance and getting back on schedule I have not written. But here I am ready to fill you in on what we have been doing lately.

Let me begin with our vacation with my parents to Fort Lauderdale Florida. We spent a wonderful week there at a time share my parents own. The resort had a mid week activity that was to good to pass up. An Exotic Animal Show which allowed petting.

I have pictures that I will attach for everyone to see. We got to see up close and personal the following animals:

Skunk, Albino Boa, Honey Bear Lemar, Lemar like on Zoobafoo, Porcipine, Parrot, Cougar, Big Toad, Spider Monkey, Scorpian, Alligator, Noctural Fox. It was so great to see these animals. The Honey Bear Lemar was new to me but oh so cute he was. The Noctural Fox was so cute you just wanted to take it home with you.

My son got the added pleasure of feeding two of the animals. He had some left over non-alcoholic strawberry dacqurie that the animal trainer allowed him to feed the Honey Bear Lemar and the Monkey. The Lemar likes really sweet things like honey where it gets his name from because he will use his long tongue to reach up into a bee hive and eat honey. The Monkey would not let go he liked it so much. And his little black gloved hands where so neat to touch. And what a grip they had on the cup too.

The scorpian was neat. Yes it still had its stinger and was about 6 inches long all stretched out. It felt like a madagascar cockroach. We were able to pet the porcipine but we did get to see him up close and get a good look at some quills. The skunk is kinda pretty if you can forget his perfume issue. But no spraying went on that day and tomatoe juice does not work. The smell gets in your skin and it just has to wear off with your skin which takes about a week or so to do. Sorry.
