 It is me again with more vacation fun.

On the way from Florida to Myrtle Beach we stopped in Walterboro SC to see a new museum. This museum is run by a young couple who are just so pleasant to talk to. Their musuem is called Slave Relics Historical Musuem. Their web address is www.slaverelics.org  It is a growing musuem. The Curator and his wife run this musuem. He told us he had traced his ancestry back to the 1800's and could go to some of the graves. They were on the island nearby. The musuem was great with its artifacts. They had the handcuffs, leg irons, ball and chain weight, along with documents and pictures. They also had a room set up like a the slave quarters and told us that up to 15 people could be living in this one little room. It was just hard to image how that many people could get rest in that small a space. There was a nice replica of a slave ship and billings of lay. Showing how much a slave sold for. If you are passing by Walterboro this summer you should stop in for a visit. The is nice too. And there a few other musuems about with little know local artifacts and information. We had a really nice visit in Walterboro SC.
