I&M Canal State Trail

Enjoy hiking, jogging, cross-country skiing, camping, snowmobiling, fishing, boating, canoeing and biking along the I & M Canal State Trail. This 61-mile recreational trail begins at Brandon Rd. in Rockdale and parallels the canal to LaSalle Peru.

Starved Rock State Park

Seasonal waterfalls, inspiring bluffs and canyons dominate the landscape at Starved Rock. Activities include hiking, canoeing, cross-country ski trails, fishing and picnicking.
