Nov. 9, 2008 - Thanksgiving crafts
Here are some thanksgiving crafts that we have done this year!
Thanksgiving cross-stich with marker
things needed:
markers
graph paper
pencil
-
Take your graph paper and lay it side ways ,then pick 2 or more colors( I used 3 colors)
-
pick the color you want to use firstand put a X in one of the corner boxs
-
Then pick the next color you want to use and put it beside the first X you made and then do the same thing with the last color but put it beside the second X,do this patrn over and over agian
-
After you finish your border,Take your pencil and make the out line to what you want to say
-
Then go over what you just did with a marker
-
Then erase the pencil marks
-
Then make a desine at the bottem of the paper with your pencil
-
Then go over that with one of your markers
and wala there is your cross-stich!!!!
And last but not lest erase the pencil marks

Sep. 18, 2008 - Sunflowers!!!!
As I said before I grew a garden this year. We have a bird feeder inside it with sunflower seeds in it, we have never been able to get sunflowers to grow by planting them, so evidently hungry birds make better planters then we do. 
so now we have sunflowers growing right in the middle of the corn!

Jun. 23, 2008 - Tomatos,Pumpkins,Cucmbers,and more!!
I have always dreamed to be a gardener well I got my dream...
I (my family) just (two days ago)got 13 Tomatos,8 Pumpkins,18 Cucmbers and yesterday I planted 10 Lettuce,10 Carrots,10 Beans,10 Peas,10 Zucchini,10 Corn,and 10 Squash! AND...just to make it easer(and more fun)to water the plants my dad put a out-door shower bag(it is like a big bag full of water with a shower head that is atached to a tube that is atached to the bag)and he hung it up on a pole so all that I hafe to do is turn on the shower head and wala

Jan. 29, 2008 - lesson #1 in wether
(I am not to good with words but here we go...)

In the kit there is a Nature Journal and you fill in the date,Temperature,Preciptation,Wind,Clouds.And at the bottem there is a place were it says to draw something!it was fun!!!
P.S.I worked on my nature journal (that my mom got me) in that I wrote what the life of a tree was like.
