Merry Xmas

Merry Christmas All,

Well here is a summary of what happened today on Christmas day.
Last night we had our Christmas-Eve dinner with Mashed potatoes, Turkey,
Baked vegetables, and sparkling wine. After, we watched "White Christmas" and went to bed.
But not with out my younger sister getting sick to her stomach.

Well in the morning our baby brother Samuel woke us at seven and I was sleepy.
If you look in my Dad's Family blog you can see Pictures of me on Christmas.
We did advent and opened presents.
I got a leather-man knife from my dad and some toy Sith lords.
My brother got a knife too and with in 30 minutes, he had already cut himself.
Afterwards we ate breakfast composed of french toast, syrup , and powdered suger.
This was served with fruit. We hung out then my Dad, me, and my brothers went shopping for printer paper and hiking boots.

And, well here I am.

Cheers,

Chinese food

Well last night we went out with a Tiawanese family to a Chinese restaurant.  We had some interesting food including a seafood soup containing shrimp, calamari, and clams. It was good. We had rice, pastries, and fish balls. (they looked a little too much like eyeballs)
But it was really good.

PS what is the most exotic food you have had?

Pearl Harbour Day

"December 7, 1941, A day that will live in Infamy..."
President Franklin Delano Wilson, December 8, 1941.

Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Hawaii was the HQ of the American Pacific fleet and the Empire of Japan saw us as a threat after we embargoed needed materials and decided to attack.  This attack was a tactical victory but a Strategic loss. "All we have succeeded in  doing is awaken a sleeping tiger"
                                          Admiral Yamamoto, 1941

America was outraged at the unprovoked attack because it was against the Geneva conventition. You have to declare war on someone before you attack. As one General put it as he surveyed the damage, "When we're done with them, Japanese will only be spoken in hell."

We, however were not ready for the war and the Imperial Japanese won the battle of Wake Island and captured the Phillipenes from the British and American Defenders.  They forced back the British forces in Burma and almost attacked India. Finally after General Slim of the British army defeated the Japanese in Burma, the war was going well for us.

Well I got a little carried away I think.

Indyjones

PS
Remember that the Japanese are our allies now.
Look at the change!

Prince Caspian

Well I saw Prince Caspian.
I thought it was ( to put it blatantly ) Horrible.
Here were my thoughts.
Pros
The actors were the same and some of the scenes were relatively close to the book.
The landscape was great and the special effects were decent

Cons
The actor who played Caspian could join the circus as the Girl-man. His hair is girly and so are some of his clothes.
The Movie was TOTALLY BOGUS.
It was not following the book besides some minuscule parts.
It was goofy and at some parts strange.

Overall perspective
It was a disappointment.
I think that it needs to get better.

Getting back

Man! Its been long since I last posted a entry.  Life is extremely hectic right now as we got back to Israel a week ago. I have to say its good to be back.  I went back tow America for vacation about three weeks ago.  I had lots of fun in NC with friends such as Baruch117 and IRONMAN. After NC, I flew to Little Rock Arkansas and saw my Nana in Camden, Arkansas.  Then we drove to Dallas, Texas.  We went to the BSA (boy's scouts of America) Museam and Six Flags over Texas.  At Six Flags,  I was  shanghaied into the acme RocknRocket.  It is a Pendulem  that flips upside down () and along with it the content of the Rocket (including Passengers).  Overall It was a good vacation.  Well I got to run and take care of '
Baby Sam.   Godbless.

May. 13, 2008

Well here is the summary of the paint ball game. Almost no one was hit  (I was and also another kid. I was not out though) so it was boring.  I did disarm someone though. A kid named Vaarune was hiding behind a barrel with the clip for his gun (that was holding ammo) sticking up in the air. Each gun has a rubber band to hold the lid shut.  I aimed for the rubber band and fired off 3 shots severing the rubber band. The last shot hit the lid pouring all his ammo out.  But otherwise it was boring.
 Well gotta go.

Slow week

Well, its been a slow week and I've  mostly  been  doing school. Today is the Israeli version of fourth of July.
There are a lot of people having  cook  out  and  banners. Yesterday, Sirens went of at 10:45 as a memorial to the dead and wounded. Cars stop in  the road and their drivers stand at attention. The day before, Sirens went off as a memorial to the Holocaust victims. So..., I guess you could say this is their memorial week.
Hopefully tomorrow we can go paint balling. I have tried the James Bond roll, but it didn't work. I ended up with a sore head and back. So lesson learned.

Today I made an experiment. I took about 20 wheat cernals and to stones. One round and one with a flat surface.  I then took the wheat cernals and ground them between the two stones producing flour.

Apr. 25, 2008

I went on a hike Wednesday to south of Rishpon. Most or some of you have probably not heard of it but it is a while off. Well, getting there was not a problem, but coming back in the middle of the day, already tired, and in the middle of a hot summer day, next thing you know, I start to get over heated. So from this I learned bring more water, eat a bigger breakfast, and tonic water (unsweetened) works great for dousing heads. Well, I got to go so ciao.
