Today I am so thankful for my dear husband. He has been so tired, and I have been so rested since our little baby came less than 2 weeks ago. He has taken care of so much, and I have been able to rest, sometimes with 2 naps a day. Today he looked exhausted, and yet was still considerate of me and the rest of the children--what a guy! He even has all of my Christmas shopping done--he bought me a number of gifts, but I have not begun to shop for him.
What are you guys buying for your husbands this year? I am open to ideas on the cheap and the creative--also anything I can buy online.
How great for him to think of others that he loves, even as tired as he is.
My dh is probably going to get a Geneva Bible from Vision Forum. He really wants one.
Blessings!

What a blessing to have such a caring husband. My husband is a baseball fanatic so I am getting him this t-shirt I found at mlb.com. You can get a team t-shirt (with logo of your choice), your last name, and your choice of numbers on the back, all for $21.00. Such a bargain, and he will be thrilled it has his name on it. Good luck and I hope you get some good ideas.
I enjoy reading your blog. I blog at lovelaughterlaundry.blogspot.com.

I will be shopping at http://www.nogreaterjoy.org for hubby's presents this year. There are some CD's there that he has expressed interest in, in the past.
Our 9th wedding anniversary is tomorrow. I got hubby's 2 presents wrapped up, and on the fridge where the kids won't rip into them. ;-) In one package is two nice shirts for him to wear, that I particulaly like, and think he will love.
The other package is going to be extra fun for him to unwrap, beause it's lady's langerie. ;-) I'll exclaim that I don't think it'll fit him, therefore, I guess I'll just have to wear it instead.
Isn't being married bliss? I LOVE that hubby of mine. :-D
I hate shopping in stores at this time of year! Luckily for us mom's, we have KB Toys.com that is offering us a great deal this year. Shop at 60% off, if you sign up 5 people to shop under you and they spend $50, you can get a $250 gift certificate for KB Toys! There are no strings attached like those others sites. Thought I would share with fellow homeschooling mom's who could use a break from the chaos of the stores and holiday shoppers!
Best wishes!
Michelle
Mine is always giving and never takes anything for himself, which he needs to do. My hubby doesn't like to receive gifts or the commercialization of Xmas so he makes it hard for me. He told me do not buy him anything so I will treat him like a King and cook his favorites for Xmas day and smother him with affection and backrubs. I will do all the work and not allow him to do any. He can sit back and enjoy his kids and go to church with us. He loves Joel Osteen and we are unable to get him here so I did order a DVD of his services and Santa will give it to him. LOL.
I got my husband (and I) the Song of Solomon rings from James Avery. I got the sterling silver ones, because we are trying to have a very meager Christmas.
We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary in August and are going to be renewing our vows on Christmas day with my father in law officiating. He married us 10 years ago, as well.
