Are boys or girls "easier"

Apples and oranges--that's what it boils down to. Girls and boys are easier, only in different ways. I love "paling around" with my girls for some things (we can talk about feelings and relationships), and my boys for others (we don't have to talk about feelings and relationships--how refreshing just to discuss "stuff"). These are my general findings as they grow:

Girls--less aggressive, more compliant, stay focused
Boys--more loyal, less complicated, say what they mean

As far as when they are little, it just depends on the personality. I have had some little girls who were "high energy" and consequently high-maintenance babies and toddlers, and little boys who were compliant and patient. If I ever had any hard, fast rules about boys and girls, they disappeared a number of children ago!

After having so many flavors of little people, I never take it for granted that I know anything--always discovering something new!  Good thing I have the wisdom of God to help me, or I'd be totally confused.

Another difference I've noticed

when boys have disagreements they "duke it out" and they're over it. Girls carry grudges and hurt feelings and can be very catty. I know, I used to be a girl ;-)

Of course I work on training these bad character traits out!!

I have a unusual girl

My boys stress me out and are all over full of it. I do get along well with them and understand what they are all about. My dd is very different from any other girl. She also notices how different she is. She is quiet respectful and Godly. She looks modern in her cowboy clothing and very modest about what she wears. She is not trendy or worldly and is always respectful and kind to everyone. She percieves people correctly and is wary of them until they prove they are genuine. I am very blessed to have her.

Yep...

My children are all so different! So very, very, different!
But I will say that my girls are definitely more emotional right from the get go so far...
Well, my boys were always quite sensitive, but my girls react more about it whereas my boys tend to 'suck it up' more. I think my girls try to manipulate with emotions more...
I used to think my boys were so much busier as little people, but now with Hope at 22 months... she is by far the busiest!
Anyway, they are all soooo very unique, and such blessings each in their own way,
enjoying them,
ali

I'm so excited to finally have a girl in my house full of boys. :-)

When I used to watch church nursery, I'd notice that the girls would generally play quietly in one main spot, while the boys would run wild and scream. :-?
