Augustana's Fryxell Geology Museum is located inside the Swenson Hall of Geosciences on the campus of Augustana College. One of the largest and finest collections of rocks, minerals and fossils in the Midwest. The museum boasts over 2,000 rock, mineral and fossil specimens including a complete skeleton of the dinosaur Cryolophosaurus and a large fluorescent mineral exhibit. Open to the public, free-of-charge SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Monday-Friday, and weekend afternoons from 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m. JUNE - Open weekdays 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
