Kids! Bring your parents to the seventh annual "Coe Playground of Science" night at Coe College! The Coe College Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Math Clubs will lead the fun in Peterson Hall October 22,
2009 from 6:00 -- 9:00 in the evening. There will be interactive demos that teach kids of all ages about the natural world around them.
In previous years, they have shattered grapes, levitated things, made dragon's breath, played with numbers, flung pumpkins, played with strong magnets, made snow, learned about life, saw how chemistry allows us to create useful substances, made ice cream with liquid nitrogen which is over 300 degrees below zero, and saw molten glass pour from a crucible. Come have fun and learn about our natural world (all ages welcome).
