Daily Freebie
Did you know there you can get a daily freebie? This site is Homeschool Resource of the Day. You can check this site each day M-F and there will be a new freebie e-book to download. No catch.
In fact, if you want notified on sunday of what is coming up for that week, you can join their notification list - which only comes out once a week (unless there is some special deal) and you will know ahead of time what days you want to be sure to check it out. Each freebie can be right-clicked and saved to your computer for future printing or even reading it on the computer.
http://homeschoolfreebie.wholesomechildhood.com/
At the top of the page, go into the "Join" link to get notified. The offerings are quite varied and you never know what will be presented and they may be aimed at elementary kids, teens, adults, or a combination. It's really a neat surprise and you wonder every day what it is going to be as you check the site.
BUT - if you miss it, t is still available - at a cost.
I really think this is a great link with some wonderful resources. Check it out.

Free Introductory Physics Class and Seminary Lectures on-line
| I found this is an issue of “World” magazine, a Christian bi-weekly news magazine, Marcy 8/15, 2008, pg 75.
Did you know there are lectures available for free online at the iTunes store at iTunes U? You can download varied lectures from Reformed Theological Seminary faculty. A couple of lectures the article specifically mentioned was one about “Writing a Spiritual Memoir” and “Seventh Commandment.”
Another great resource is a 52 part series of half hour long video lectures of an introductory physics class – “The Mechanical Universe….and Beyond”. It is available free online at learner.org/resources/series42.html. Cal Tech produced this course and I have heard many times that this particular course and text makes a wonderful physics class for a high school student who has had some advanced math courses.
Hopefully this is the wave of the future and we will start finding many more such resources available for free online.

Dena Wood, Guest Freebie Finder
For many of us, teaching from the Bible and being able to teach Creation Science as opposed to evolution is a large part of the reason we homeschool. Below you'll find some free resources to help you do just that.
This site has gathered an impressive amount of scientific information in support of Creation Science and organized it in an extensive web based encyclopedia. Their goal is to arm you with specific facts to use as you share with others about Creationism. HERE is the Table of Contents for their Creation vs Evolution encyclopedia. You'll find amazing amount of information here. I'll admit, I got sidetracked for quite some time.
This same website offers free pdf files, by chapter, of the book Science vs. Evolution. "Over 3,000 scientific facts which annihilate evolutionary theory. This book is based on extensive research and is highly recommended by scientists and educators."
At ChristianAnswers.Net you'll find lessons complete with handouts. These can be used at home, Sunday School, with youth groups and more. You might specifically check out the study, Creation or Evolution - What Difference Does it Make? You'll find a helpful article titled Teaching Creationism to Children, excerpted from the book Creation Activities for Kids HERE.
You can sign up to receive Acts & Facts monthly magazine and Days of Praise daily devotional from the Institute for Creation Research HERE. While you're there, take a moment and check out their news page for the latest Creation Science happenings.
The Kid Zone at www.projectcreation.org offers articles, puzzles and pictures you can print out for your children as you learn about Creation. While you're there check out this article, Why It Matters! - Losing Our Young People to Evolutionism, to encourage you that taking the time to "teach" not "tell" about this subject is worth it.
