Jun. 23, 2009 - ALIVE Photos # 2

Everyday Sunday was awesome! I love their song "Lies and Fear Go Hand in Hand". The Merch Tent. Just a pic. It was muddy! The crowd. This is only a fraction of all the people!! Sean McNiel. He was on American Idol in '05.

Jun. 23, 2009 - ALIVE Photos # 1

This was Worth Dying For. They were Awesome!! They led worship on Saturday. The Afters. There was girl who was standing up front and she handed her camera to the lead singer so he could take a picture of himself! Of course Newsboys was absolutely AMAZING!!!! THis was Michael Taits first performance as a Newsboy and it was Peter Fuller last performance as a Newsboy. The Breakfast song is not complete without Cap'n Crunch cereal being thrown around!

Jun. 6, 2009 - Full Day!

I am pretty exhausted. Me, Andrea, and Sam, slept in the camper last night. No reason in particular, just for the fun of it.
Then me and Andrea went on a 4 mile walk/run. Then I eight a tuna melt for lunch then we went on a 1 and 1/2 mile run to Franks(a little drive in ice cream place left over from the fifties.) I got a slushy and Adrea got a slushy.
And now I am home. My dad just went to get charcoal for the grill. We are having barbecued chicken for supper, then we are going to a graduation party.
Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party for a lady we know.

May. 25, 2009 - Happy Memorial Day!

Thanks to all the soldiers who are fighting for us.
We went to a parade. It is shorter this year than usual.
At three we are going to a party at our friends house. They have a pond(well, actually they have 3 ponds, and a pool) so we will be swimming. I can't wait.

May. 17, 2009 - I Cose Not To Give This Post A Title...

...Which I suppose is its self a title. Oh well.
Well yesterday we were supposed to help out with a fund raiser. Unfortunately nobody told us it was canceled. I was looking forward to all week.
So instead we went fishing at my sister and brother-in-laws place. My dad is the only one who caught anything; one wee, little bass. I did catch lots of weeds and marine vegetation. Every time I reeled in something, my nephew Brady would start crying and and saying, ''No, don't like that. Want Daddy.''
I asked him if he wanted to sit by me and he walked over and sat on my tackle box. I cast out the line and stood their for a minute. Then I looked back and Brady was holding his hands out. I said, ''Do you want to hold the rod?'' He said yes.Audrey and Brady were helping Braden(My b-i-l) carry sicks and branches to the would pile. Audrey would carry a bunch of sticks and Brady was carrying a handful of leaves.

My sister came home from a six-month trip to Mozambique, Africa in late April.
I just made brownies.(Yes, I make brownies at nine o'clock at night!) They taste good.
Tomorrow me and my sister are going to help out at a dinner thing our 4-H club is making for a dog show at our fair grounds. That will be fun.
I can't think of anything interesting really. Rats.
Well, I am off to bed and a book.

I am getting better at running! I ran one and a half miles in less than twenty minutes! Plus the pain in my side is decreasing. My mom is making burritos for supper. One of my favorite meals.

Apr. 5, 2009 - Hi ya'll!

Hi, everyone.
Church went well. I helped in the 3-5 year olds class. The main reason I helped was to keep my nephew Brady occupied while Bonnie and Braden(sister and brother-in-law) taught. Happy Palm Sunday!!!
Last Wednesday was April Fool's Day; my dad called my mom while we were at church setting up for the soup kitchen thingy, my dad called and said that the tires on his truck were flat and he had to take them in to get them fixed and the people didn't know when it would be ready, and he said that Cara called and said she had to be picked up at 5:30 instead of 5:00. She works about 45 minutes from church. While talking to my dad, my mom got this really worried look on her face and the pastors wife reminded her that it was April Fools. It was of course a joke.
Also, our car VUE was TPd. At first I thought it was our youth pastor who did it but then I found out that it was a guy named Jon and a girl named Selena.
I just ran a mile and a half. I'm beat.
Adios!
-Joel

Apr. 3, 2009 - NEVER DO THIS!!!!

Never run for a long time and then drink a quart of water! I just did it, and needless to say, I have stomach ache. On the up-note, I 'overcame' a sin. That sin? A bowl FULL of rainbow sherbet. It is sooo good but a looked at it and thought, This is so flippin' disgusting. I put it back and settled for milk. It's not that I am a health food freak, but that just spelled stomach ache. I got an achy stomach anyway, but hey, at least it was exercising instead of filling my face!
Ciao,

Mar. 24, 2009 - I had a GREAT day!!!

WE went hiking to a AWESOME park today at the Gorge Park today. It was so cool! We climbed on the rocks and walked on the edge of some steep ledges. It was fun. We ate lunch there and then went to another park and walked around on a path their. We also got to see the old locks(As in river locks) too. We walked on the stones in a shallow part of the river there. While walking across and old rotting log I fell in. The water was probably about 6 feet(which I am not) but I managed to hoist myself out and only got legs wet(it's a good thing I didn't get my hip pockets wet--I had my moms cell phone in them!). While walking back to the other side on the log, everyone else was throwing rocks in the water so it would splash me.
