Yesterday, April 3, 2006, we went to Krispy Kreme doughnuts.  The red light was on, which means they give out the hot doughnuts right off the conveyor belt. They are really soft and hot.

 The cool thing is you get to watch the doughnuts being made. It is so interesting how the machine works and fun to watch the doughnuts being glazed.

One doughnut did not get flipped when the other ones did. It went through the whole process and then at the end the worker threw it away. We were told that they call those doughnuts “white caps”because the top remains white.

It was really fun.
