Open Season 2 - 6.0 - It was funny but 1 was better.
Death Race - 6.4 - A really cool action movie. Not much of a plot though.
Quantam of Solace - 5.9 - It was alright. I'm not a James Bond fan though.
Igor - 4.5 - The start was good but in the end it got boring.
The Tale of Desperaux - 7.0 - It was really good. It had a good story.
The Day the Earth Stood Still - 1.8 - It was so boring I couldn't finish it.
Bolt - 6.3 - An around average cartoon.
Taken - 8.4 - A very awesome action packed movie! |

| I wanted to blog about a fun time when my friend Will came over. I rarely see him because he lives over 3 hours away. We met when we were both 3 years old. This is how we met. We just moved in at our house in Shelbyville and our garage was open. Will came over from across the street because he thought we were having a yard sale. We started playing and from then on we saw each other everyday. It was a sad day when we moved. But I made new friends and I still get to see Will. Will gets to come over during Spring, Summer, and Winter break. He usually stays for a week. We have a great time watching scary movies and helping each other on hard levels on video games. He just left about a week ago and I wanted to blog about something funny that happened to us this time he came down. We were at the park and Will, Josh and I were playing basketball. Then these 3 kids came on the court and challenged us to a game. Two of them were 10 years old and the other was 8. We were playing on a college-sized goal. Well we accepted the challenge. But we didn't know the trap we just put ourselves in. Before I knew what hit me they were up 12 - 2. We needed a gameplan and fast. In the end we beat them 42 - 29. I would say we pulled ourselves together quick but we shouldn't have been behind in the first place. All I can say was "Man... Those kids are good." I couldn't say the same about us. |

Feb. 25, 2009 Sorry, Wrong Car
| Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. February is always a busy time and we also just got better from a stomach bug. I wanted to tell you guys about a funny thing that happened to me while we were visiting my Grandma in Lexington. Well right beside her apartment complex is a Dollar Tree. My younger brother Josh and I just about always go there. So my Mom and Grandma dropped us off (They waited in the parking lot.) So we went in. A couple minutes later we walked out and just then a car pulled up right in front of us. It was the same kind of car my Grandma has. So I just thought "Oh they pulled up to save us the walk." Boy was I wrong. I started walking towards the car. I didn't see who was in the car because I was looking in the bag. I got to one of the doors and started pulling the handle. It was locked. I pulled again and it was still locked. Finally I looked up and in the car were people I had never seen before! They were staring at me. I started walking backwards saying sorry. Their widow was up so they didn't hear me. When we got back to my Grandma's car they started making up jokes like "We'll take you back here, but when we see you coming, we'll get out and start waving flags!" So that's it. It was a great day. |

Jan. 9, 2009 Christmas Dinner at a Japanese Restaurant
We had a wild and fun Christmas at Lexington. Josh and I went to Lexington on the 25th with our cousins, Megan and Aaron. My mom, dad and Matt would come up on the day after we got there. Josh and I went early to catch a UK basketball game. Lexington is a long three-hour ride, but it's worth it. When we got in Lexington, my uncle Rick dropped Josh, Aaron, and me off at my grandma's apartment in Lexington. We stayed up late watching a scary show.
The next day was the day we would proove that we were die-hard UK Wildcat fans, or we would proove we were just plain dumb--I don't know. We woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning, and my Uncle Rick came by and picked us up to head for Rupp Arena. We were first in line--that was awesome! The down side was that we had to wait until 1:30 to get our tickets. We got seats in the "Eruption Zone", and that's the cloeset you can get to the players. Then came the hardest part. Once we got our tickets, we had to race to the back of the building. That's where we had to line up again and wait a few minutes before they would let us into Rupp. Fortunately, we made it to the front row. The "Eruption Zone" has no seats so you have to stand through the whole game. It was a great game and UK won! I got an autograph of UK's present best shooter Jodie Meeks. I also got Kyle Macy's. I think Macy played in the 70's. He made it to the NBA so I'm glad I got his autograph. (Getting to the game wouldn't have been possible without my Uncle Rick, who is the biggest UK fan I know.) After the game, we went straight to a Japenese Steakhouse where our whole family ate in a room all by ourselves (so all the little kids wouldn't run away). The Steakhouse was great--I loved their food. They put on a great show. They cooked the food in front of us and did tricks. We all had a great time. |

Jan. 7, 2009 Movie Review 2
1. Wall - E - 5.4 - It was okay but about half the movie there was no talking.
2. The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - 5.7 - It was like a rollercoaster-- the start was good, the middle was okay, and the ending was good.
3. Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 2.5 - I was really disappointed because I loved the older ones.
4. Iron Man - 6.0 - I think it should be in the top ten super hero movie list.
5. Transformers - 3.2 - The movie was intended for kids because of the popular toys, but the movie was plagued with bad language. I bet a lot of fans didn't get to watch this movie
6. Eagle Eye - 8.3 - One of the best thrillers ever! It was also really fast paced.
7. The Incredible Hulk - 7.1 - They didn't try to do impossible stuff on the chase scenes; overall it was really good.
8. Get Smart - 8.0 - The funniest movie I have seen in a long time.
9. Leatherheads - 2.8 - I don't know if they were trying to make a comedy or a sports movie. But I do know this, they failed in both catergories.
10. Babylon A.D - 6.4 - It was great at the begining but the end made the movie a six.
11. Madagascar 2 - 7.2 - It was awesome!

Dec. 31, 2008 Another Gamestop commercial
Here is a list of some of the new movies I watched and I'll give ratings:
1 - The Dark Knight - 7.3 - I didn't think it would be to good but supprisingly it was one of the best Batmen movies.
2 - Scorpion King 2 - 6.0 - It was pretty good. Number one was better though.
3 - The Happening - 2.0 - One of the worst movies ever. Period!
4 - Kung Fu Panda - 7.5 - This movie wins the best movie on this list. You couldn't stop laughing.
IMPORTANT : Before you view any of these movies you should check the ratings. But if you want more in depth reports, then let me recommend www.family.org (go to the "plugged in" area).
Oh here's a cool device we have. It's called Clearplay. If you want to watch a movie, but it has too much bad language, then you should buy the ClearPlay DVD player at the Lifeway Christian bookstore or on the internet. It can play regular DVDs. You can change the settings on it if you want it to take out bad language or if you want it to skip when there's too much mushiness. Here's the website where you can learn additional info: www.clearplay.com. Hope you get it! It'll lead to a good family movie night without having to worry about bad language.

Dec. 17, 2008 Gamestop Commercial
Dec. 10, 2008 Uneventful evening
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. We got busy this week . I can't wait 'till Christmas.
Oh man, as I was blogging just now, a car crash happened right outside. There were two cars and they collided, and one of them just drove off! It looks like they can't get the person out of the car. Well there's a little excitement of what was becoming a very uneventful evening. My Dad was gone so my Mom ran out there to see if they needed a phone. I had to stay behind because I had to watch Matt. They called the police now, so they'll be here any minute. I didn't expect that to happen. I was about to write about my boring evening (as you can see by the title above) but all the sudden this happens as I'm blogging.
It looks like no one's hurt. But that car looks pretty bad. The police are here now. I had no idea that this would happen. All of our neighbors are out, and the fire truck and an ambulance came. I learned something though--don't hope for excitement because that just may happen but in a way you don't want it to. I was just sitting here thinking of what to write and then crash! At least no one is seriously hurt. |

Christmas is my favirote holiday. Not because of presents, but because I get to see family and everyone is so happy. But that's not all to it. It reminds me that Jesus was born and God sent him because he loves us.
We put up our Christmas tree up a couple days ago. We like putting it up right after Thanksgiving. I counted the Christmas tree ornaments to see what type we had the most of. To my supprise we have more moose ornaments. That's kind of weird because we live in the middle of the city and we don't particularly have a thing for moose. |

Okay here are some websites that you could try out.
1. www.miniclip.com - If you like playing games.
2. www.hulu.com - If you like watching TV shows or movies. They got tons.
3. www.espn.com - You probally already heard of this site, but if you haven't then you sport heads need to go there.
4. www.toppstown.com - Okay this could be a little confusing--but if you go to Wal - Mart and buy a pack of Topps football, basketball or baseball cards there may be a code in it. If you get a code, you can enter it at Toppstown after you create an account. And when you enter a code this screen should pop up and you win some virtual cards. You can trade them online or save them and create a team and get points. I really can't explain all the details but you get the idea.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good week. My Dad is in New York on a buisness trip and the rest of us are trying to get occupied so we don't miss him too much. We were going to go to Lexington but my Mom and I are too sick. But we are having a good week despite my Dad being gone. Yesterday we went to Clarksville to shop. My Dad's birthday is on the day he get's back. Tonight we are going to have a movie night.
Something funny happened in Steak 'n Shake yesterday. We were in the drive - thru and I needed to use the bathroom so me and my brother Josh go into the restaurant. As we were walking out of the store, two elderly ladies were coming through the same door we were going out. So naturaly I open the door for them. As they were coming through, Josh trips on accident and speeds right through them almost knocking them down! They didn't know he tripped so they probably thought he did that on purpose but that's alright we all know it was an accident.
Oh and one more thing, if you live in Hopkinsville Kentucky go to the Gamestop in the mall. It's the friendliest store ever! The workers ALWAYS have a smile on their faces and they're always helpful.
Bye |

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. We were really busy with the holidays. Now I have time because me and most of my family are sick with who knows what. I may not blog this week because soon me and my family are going to Lexington to visit my grandma. Lexington is a great city. It feels like my second home. I love it when my cousins Aaron and Megan have a summer break. We all go to my grandma's. She lives in an apartment in the middle of the city, and we always get into adventure. It seems like everything exciting happens when we're together. My little brother Josh who is 9 and my cousin Aaron who is 8 always want me to tell them a scary story at night when we're in Lexington. They wanted the scairest one I had. After the story, it left Aaron terrified and Josh was petrified. The best way to describe their faces is this smiley . Yeah, just a blank stare. That was the last time I told them a story. Well anyway I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving like I had. If you want you can leave a comment about you're Thanksgiving. |
