You May Not Be A Fan of Superman, But You Will Be A Fan of My SuperAngel

Have you been to The Daily Planet?  It's my eldest daughter's blog.

If you have, you know it.  If you haven't, you are missing out.

Now, I am not saying it is the style of blog that most of us Moms would consider perusing. - Not because it isn't an interesting blog or because she isn't a great young lady.  - Not because we refuse to read blogs written by the young people on HSB.  You may have passed it by, as I might have, because its theme is all Superman. The font is funky. -And loud! She posts in red, blue and yellow, and usually colors the background.

These are a few of the things that may turn you off to reading this particular blog.  However, if you let these outward appearances keep you from reading it, you will miss a wonderful outlook on life, written by a beautiful 16 year-old young woman in the LORD.  And, she is one of those beautiful-on-the-inside, too types!

I have been so !busy! typing up my own posts that I haven't really taken time to look at her blog. Now, I do read her posts before she puts them on there.  But, you know how it is: when you find a blog that interests you, you kind of look around and read a few posts, maybe the Profile... to see if the blogger is someone you may want to get to know.  My reading her posts to proof them for posting isn't taking her blog in, really.  So, tonight, as she is at a friend's house - and I miss her terribly (and her sister, too) - I decided it was high time I take some time and read her blog - see her posts all together, to see the big picture.

I mentioned that if you judge her blog by what it looks like, then you will miss out.  Now, I like Superman - and I love my daughter, but all the loud colors and fonts aren't my style.  I don't know if I would give it a further look, if it weren't hers.  And, I must say, just because it isn't my style doesn't mean she has done a shoddy job, either.  She has done an excellent job.

And, she has done an excellent job in her writings, too. You can see her love of the LORD, as well as her insight into Godly things.  She has posted Scripture, Bible readings, Bible character posts.  She has also written some pretty excellent book reports.

I am just so proud of the young lady she is becoming!! She is helpful and efficient, loving and kind. She is a normal young lady, but would give you whatever you needed that she had.  She loves to bake us Banana Bread and prepares an excellent supper.

She is quite reserved, but can be the life of the party. God has truly created an amazing young lady in her.  I am so blessed to be called her mother.

So there - go check out her blog.  See if you don't just think she is as great as I do!
