Are Homeschoolers Normal? Links to posts on Pulling Your Children Out of The PSS
I want to add some other links to my post, entitled Cutting and Running Indeed, Dr. Beam on the whole Pulling Your Children Out of Public School issue- or, as I would call it - Don't Put Them Into Public School to Start With!!!

I agree, Spunky, with your entire post...but, especially with the last part. It is the responsibility of adult, mature Christians to get out of the "cloistered offices" and "charge" into the public schools with - did you say "Bible blazing"? Yep, I think that's it. Like, let's expect a child to listen to their teacher, learn the 3 R's, try to NOT listen to the others who are talking and goofing off..... AND get out their Bible and -probably - get laughed at.
It feels like parents of public school children think we Homeschool Moms sit at home all day, like hermits and never speak to anyone in 'normal society' like a public school family does. As much as I would love to never have to have my children see or hear the 'barrage of gar-bage' that permeates our society.... I do have to grocery shop, buy clothing, work our business,....and the other "normal' things you do to live.
And, I do enjoy meeting new people and spending time with friends and acquaintances alike. I even attended the Rescource Expo in Fort Wayne this past weekend... And I talked to people, too. Normal people...ok, some of us aren't normal, but that is another story.
AND- no kidding - The The Principal is a Public School Principal, with vast knowlede of the pss, and even he admonishes parents to GET YOUR KIDS OUT OF PUBLIC SCHOOL AND EDUCATE THEM AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
