What is the reason for having your own Hope Chest?

     It is a lovely thing to watch as your children grow in the LORD, learning the beautiful things that will shape their lives and many others' for Eternity. The most miraculous is watching them learn things on their own, with little or no guidance from you. Of course, it is a culmination of what we have taught them, but they take it so much further than we could have dreamed.

     I thank the LORD for leading them, and I am grateful when they follow.  Oh, to be like a little child, following on the path to God's plan for my life.

     Be refreshed in the path they follow Him on.  Enjoy the path they are following Him on.  Lead them to Him, and let them go to Him on their own.  Isn't that the self-sufficiency we desire for them?  That they will go to Him and make the choices to follow His Leading, not their own?

That is beautiful! I've enjoyed reading your blog, as well as your daughter's. It's always such an encouragement to me to see families where the children and parents truly love one another- and the Lord. As a Mama of young children, I have so much to learn!
