Do You Have a List of Goals? Here Is An Excellent Model

     I want to let you know about a wonderful list that I found:  My 101 in 1001 at Andi's Place.  I told her I would not steal her list, but I am going to steal her idea.

     Knowing that the LORD is a LORD of order, not chaos, what a wonderful practice it is for us to have goals. This list is a wonderful start to 1001 things I know I have buzzing around in my head all the time!

     I sometimes feel overwhelmed - ok, I feel it A LOT - at all the things I want to do either to be a Helpmeet to My Sweetie or to show my children that I am listening and I do value what is important to them.

     Take 2dd15's book, for example. I have not given it the attention she wants me to. I have, though, edited about 15 pages of it in the past 5 days, which is a huge feat, when I have other Littles crying for my attention....and a Marriage I highly value, a garden screaming to be planted... I KNOW you know what I mean! 

    And, then, said loving, wonderful daughter also decides and gets permission to get goats. Now, I LOVE the idea. I want to do it.  Pile on top of that the fact that her Dad agreed, it makes it almost mandatory that we should do it! So, I now am having to plan that!

    Well, 2dd is daily asking me to edit more of her book.  I want to edit it daily, too. I want to do that daily along with all the other things I want to do daily - like have some time that I am me and share this with y'all. 

    So, God, being the Sovereign God of the universe, not just some god of nature, directing each of us into a path that attains the desires we have, has seen fit to lead me to Andi's Place, where I found this List of Priorities I desperately need to make.  My God knew beforehand that I would have the Editing Conversation with 2dd15.  He knows what I need even before I do, and I hope that I can bend my will to His and desire the things He has planned for me.

    Oh how God blesses me, an undeserving Seeker of Rest in the Ancient Paths.

btw do you just copy/paste the tags from your technorati page? I've never seen those on any blog before but have seen them there. lol
